When you are installing RECentral and plug in your AVerCapture HD capture box you might see a spinning blue light and the error message Unable to find any supported devices.


Note: This tends to happen if you plugged in your device before you originally installed the RECentral software.



While the card is plugged in, click the start button and type


mmc devmgmt.msc


into the search box and press enter



Now right click Aver_C835_USB under Other devices



Select Update Driver Software




Now click Browse my computer for driver software



Now click Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer





Now uncheck Show compatible hardware if it is checked

Select AVerMedia TECHNOLOGIES, Inc. on the left

Select AVerMedia GL310 USB HD Capture Device on the right

Click Next




Select Close




Restart your computer





Once your computer is restarted, when you open RECentral you should see the device connected and the light should be solid blue on the box.
