*The USB Stick needs to be formatted as FAT32.  If this is the USB stick you use to export clips for HUDL, then its already FAT32*

Step 2: Connect Monitor and Keyboard to T100.

  • Plug Monitor/TV into the HDMI out port on the back fo the T100.
  • Plug the keyboard into the front USB port on the T100.
  • Plug the USB stick into the USB port on the back of the T100.

Step 3: Turn on Monitor and T100.

  • Press F11 on the keyboard every few seconds while the T100 is turning on.  If your keyboard has other functions mapped to the F11 key, (volume, etc) you can try pressing FN+F11 when it boots.
  • If the T100 detects the button press and the USB stick, you will see a boot selection menu.
  • (If it doesn’t detect the button press, power it off and try again, it might take a few tries to get the hang of it).
  • When you see the boot selection menu, select the one listed as UEFI USB Stick.  The name might be slightly different.
  • Use arrow keys to select the USB Stick and press the ENTER key on the keyboard.

Step 4: Clonezilla

  • If you have booted off the USB stick correctly, you will see a screen that says Clonezilla with several choices.  Just press ENTER selecting the first option.
  • Then after a few minutes the restore will complete and you will have an option to power off the T100.
  • (If the update fails, try copying the files onto a different USB stick.  Some Sandisk USB sticks have been reported to fail).

Step 5: Connect T100 to Wireless router.

  • Connect the T100 to the Wireless router and reboot the T100.

Step 6: Install and download the T100 updater app onto an iPhone or iPad.

  • Connect your iPhone/iPad to the internet and download the T100 Updater app on the app store.
  • Once the app is installed, open the Select Update menu and select the latest update.  When it finishes downloading connect your iPhone/iPad to the Wireless router’s network.

Step 7: Connect iPhone/iPad to Wireless router.

Step 8: Install Update on T100.

  • Return to the T100 Updater app and open the Select T100 menu.
  • Select the T100 from the list and Apply Update.
  • When the progress finishes and it says Complete. Reboot the T100.

Step 9: When the T100 comes back up, verify that the version is 17.8.592 or later.
