If your iPad has trouble connecting to echo 5 wifi then you might need to reset the network on the device.
Simply goto Settings > Wi-Fi
On the list of networks, tap the blue information button next to echo 5.
Now tap Forget This Network.
You can then login and reenter your wifi password.
